Before the Renaissance (Rinascimento in Italian), there were the Medicis, the dynastic Italian banking family that financed so many of the period’s transformational achievements. It is a fitting name for this popular collection that has been part of Arte Italica for decades. Its shapes and subtle colors create an old world feel. Unmistakably handmade and hand painted in soft cream shades accented with an interpretation of the Medici's beautiful, signature, giglio (fleur-de-lis) and vine motifs in rich hues of green, blue and orange. Italian ceramic, Hand made in the Umbria Region of Italy.
